I'm tired of dreaming. It's exhausting.
Big dreams, small dreams, dreams that might never happen.
Dreaming is disappointing.
But without dreams, what are we?
Without a goal in mind, what purpose is there?
I hate running just to run. I need a finish line. I need something to strive for. I need a start and a finish.
But I have to confess, I'm not a good finisher. I have big dreams and great, creative dreams. However, reluctantly I say, I suck at finishing sometimes.
Guys, we have to dream though. Dreams are fuel. They are the fuel that drives us (see what I did there?!)
But, most of the time they stay just that...dreams. Dreams can't be just dreams.
Most of us live our lives about to do something. We have to stop living a life about to do something and just do it. God has called us to live life ("no he didn't Cal..." Oh sorry...Matt. 6:34, Ecc. 5:18, Prov. 17:22...There ya go)
Life happens through experience and journeys.
Living a simple, stable, 9-5 lifestyle isn't my passion and I would venture to assume it might not be yours either.
We spend so much time dreaming and less time doing. So many of our dreams end up in not enough time, not enough money, too hard and/or too scared excuses. Truth is, there will never be enough time or money. We have to step out of our safety comforts and live.
Life happens through experience and journeys.
What journey do you need to take? Not the safe, secure, easy journey. The real journey. The calling on your life. Life will happen through experience. People are never going to respect or take you serious because of what you are about to do.
Do it.
