Duck hunting is one of my favorite things to do.
However, duck hunting is very hard work.
It would be too much to explain in a blog post and you probably don't care but just trust me--It's hard work!
One of the hard things about duck hunting is trudging through knee deep mud and ice. Mile after mile. Putting one foot in front of the other, plugging along with all your gear and decoys stumbling behind.
After a couple days of doing this, I starting thinking--Sometimes our lives become like this.
Just lumbering along, dragging our baggage through this swampy thing we call life.
We carry so much baggage and eventually our lives are nothing but putting one foot in front of the other.
So how do we keep going?
How can we change this mucky, stumbling lifestyle?
One word: worship!
But what is worship? Is it just singing to God?
Worship is a reverent love and devotion to God.
No where does it really say worship is singing.
Worship is an action. Worship is seeing Jesus for who he is and falling facedown in adoration.
Worship is honoring and loving God by the way we live.
It's sitting back and saying…"Woah! Look what Jesus did for me!"
Worship is realizing how blessed you are! Because believe it or not, YOU ARE BLESSED!
There is someone is this world who would urgently need all the things you take for granted!
Get out of the muck and mud and worship!
Life is better that way! Life is better on dry, solid ground!
